Hop on over for our March projects!
Hello on this first day of Spring! And, there is lots going on.
Eight of us attended Janni's Bouquet Floral Card Workshop on the 17th and it was a great afternoon. We hardly made any mistakes (no big ones, if I recall!) and we had a great time. All of the cards looked lovely and they will make their recipients very happy! Thanks to Janni for her patience and fabulous instruction.
And, now, on to our next projects. Below are the pictures of the Easter Cards I've created for this year.
Three of these cards have an interactive element - the Chickie card (the one with the striped paper) has a "pop up" egg inside (using the familiar Honey Pop product); the bunny and chick in the carrot "car"move across the card front when the tab is pulled; and the little lamb pulls up to reveal a two-part sentiment that is sure to bring giggles!
These cards are available to make on a drop-in basis at a cost of $4 each (there won't be an organized workshop for these cards but you can come by the studio to make them up). All the supplies and materials are provided so email me to book a time that works for you.
On Sunday, March 25, we'll have our regular monthly all occasion card workshop where we'll make these six cards.
Come and learn some new techniques and see some fun new stamp sets.
The cost for this workshop is $25 including taxes and includes all supplies and materials, including coordinating envelopes. The time for this workshop is 2 pm - 4 pm.
Email me to reserve your spot for this workshop.
I am also committed to "playing more" and discovering new techniques and projects. I have three goals for the next year. Each month I aim to:
Make one Christmas card (this is to use up my stash, and to get ahead of the game for what is always a busy season);
Try one new technique and publish the results (I'm calling this "I Tried That!");
Use a product or supply from my craft room that I haven't touched since I bought it (now that should be interesting!) - I'm calling this "Use it or Lose it" (though I'm not sure who is going to police that!)
OK, I've put it in writing) so now I have to start acting on my delivery! Stay tuned to my blog and my Facebook page as I journey through my creative commitments.
Happy creating!
Pamela
