Getting Back to the Crafting! (COVID response for workshops and creativity)
I am working to open the studio back up to workshops and classes, now that we're in this Phase 2 for our BC restart plan.
I will be posting the upcoming workshops in the next few days, but I want to assure you that I am taking precautions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. Here are some basics I am implementing for all sessions:
for all workshops, there will be limited attendance so that there are no more than three people (plus me) at the studio at anytime and some workshops will be limited to two people at a time to ensure adequate space and individual supplies for each participant
hand-washing and sanitizing will be routine before and after each session
where I am unable to provide individual stamps and ink pads to each person, I will pre-stamp the images for card making workshops to limit shared supplies
I will offer each workshop session multiple times a month to accommodate these important constraints
Even with these measures in place, I will also be happy to host one-on-one workshops or smaller groups if you would rather not be part of a larger gathering.
For any workshop, or if you just want to come in and be creative to work on a custom or individual project, you can:
come on your own for some "private time"
come with a family member of member of you "bubble"
come and join one of the open workshops with the limited small groups noted above
I realize everyone has their own level of comfort and safety and I also know how important creative outlets are for our well-being. So, I want to work to accommodate all of these needs with some new and unique approaches.
Stay tuned as I add the details for some upcoming workshops and I look forward to seeing you at the studio. I am also working to create a few tutorials / videos for projects if you are wanting to just work from your own home.
(And, Yes ... I realized after I finished the piece in the photo at the top of this post, that I have the words in the wrong order, but, it is the thought that counts!)
