January Kits are Ready to Order!
Well, Happy New Year! Wow, 2021 is here and I think we are ALL ready for a change. There is just so much to look forward to this year! And, crafting is certainly something that will continue to keep us all engaged and creating!
I have two different kits ready for this month. There are limited numbers of each kit, and please note that there is no mix-and-matching between sets (a "kit" is a "kit").
Both kits have six cards, with coordinating envelopes. The cost for each kit is $25 including taxes, for take-out kits (this assumes you have your own adhesives - if you don't, you can purchase a starter kit for an additional $10, which will be useful for future kits, too). If you want to schedule an in-studio workshop, the cost is $30 and we can coordinate a time when you register for a kit.
This month, as a special "bonus," you will receive six national postage stamps (good for mailing in Canada), for the first kit you order this month (limit one set of stamps per household).
See the details below for more information about each of the kits.
Please email me to reserve your kit. You can pick the kits up at my studio, with contactless pickup or I can deliver them to you on the North Shore.
January All Occasion Card Kit
This set of six cards (shown in the photo above) provides you with a nice mix of different sentiments.
With this kit, you'll create two "general" birthday cards; two "hello" cards; and two "thank you" cards.
The first thank you card has "Just a Note" as part of the sentiment, so you could leave off the "filled with many thanks" banner and use the card for a general hello - do note, though, that the paper on this card has "Bonjour", "Merci", and other written sentiments on it but it would still be appropriate as a general hello.
The second thank you card, with this lovely floral bouquet, can be adapted with a different greeting (sympathy, thinking of you, birthday), if you let me know in advance of picking up the kit I can stamp a different sentiment in the banner.
Do you know someone who is having a "big number
birthday?" Well, this card will be perfect. The inside reads, "the bigger the wish!!!"
Just a fun way to celebrate!
January Silly & Snarky Birthday Card Kit
Why not start the year out with some giggles?
These cards are sure to bring provide a giggle as you make them, and a smile for the recipient.
The greetings on these cards include:
Happy Birthday - I was going to drink anyway (the lady with the wine)
Make a Wish - and then blow out the bonfire (the little dragon and flame card)
I Hope Someone Makes You a Cake Because I Didn't (the "grumpling" with the present)
This next card displays, "Let's Face It, you already have the best present ever ..." in the outside panel, and then when you open the card, there is a birthday bear with the sentiment, "Me!"
The kit photo above only has five of the six cards, so here is the final one. The inside reads, "Nope, you're still old."
Gearing up for February
For February, I am planning another set of quarantine-related "hello" cards. I am also working on some fun Valentine's cards, since we are likely still going to be distanced as the month arrives. With our current situation still in much limbo, some silly Valentine's cards would be very well-received by those people you can't connect with in person.
Let me know if you think you might be interested in either of these kits, so I can prepare enough packages in advance!
Stay tuned for more fun card designs!
Happy Crafting!
Pamela
